Patek Philippe Minute Repeater Pocket Watch w/ Sailing History

This is an extremely rare Patek Philippe minute repeater pocket watch from 1924. The movement and the sounds it makes is absolutely stunning! The dial is beautiful with Breguet numerals and shows some discoloration and signs of old restoration. Beyond the watch itself, this watch also has a fascinating provenance. It was gifted to the skipper of a 1939 sailing race from San Francisco to Honolulu. The watch is accompanied by an extract from Patek and is one of the most important pocket watches we have seen.
